January 27th: Life Journal

(S)cripture- "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

(O)bservation- Jesus used ordinary, uneducated people to be his disciples to do extraordinary things because they were willing to spend time with Him and their hearts were open. Consequently, they had courage to be bold in their faith!

(A)pplication- As Christian athletes, we can do extraordinary things in our sport if we spend time with Him and allow Jesus into our heart, so we can be bold and courage "Glorifying our Savior" while playing our sport(s).

(P)rayer- I pray for the average athlete to do extra average things in their sport by calling on the Lord for boldness and courage to work hard and be an ambassador for Christ as we glorify Him with our gifts and talents.
